This policy explains what information the Nextools website may receive, why we use it, and the choices available to you. Individual extensions may have separate privacy disclosures because their features and browser permissions differ.
1. Information you provide
When you contact support or submit a review, we receive the information entered in the form, such as your name, email address, subject, rating, and message. Your email is used for moderation or support and is not displayed with a published review.
2. Technical and usage information
Our server may process standard technical information including IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and security logs. We may count browser-store link clicks to understand which products and browsers users find most useful.

4. Browser stores and external links
Extension installation takes place through third-party browser stores. When you follow a store or donation link, that provider’s privacy policy applies. Nextools does not control how an external service processes information.
5. Extension permissions
An extension may request browser permissions necessary for its stated features. The product page should explain relevant permissions and link to an extension-specific privacy policy when appropriate. Review those details before installing.
6. Cookies and sessions
The public website does not provide visitor accounts. Essential session cookies may be used for form security and temporary messages. The private admin panel uses a session cookie for authorized administrators.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only when reasonably necessary to host, secure, maintain, or operate Nextools, or when legally required.
8. Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, moderation, security, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. We use practical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete personal information you submitted, subject to security, legal, and recordkeeping requirements. Published comments can be reviewed or removed upon a reasonable verified request.
10. Children’s privacy
Nextools is not intentionally directed to children under the age required for independent consent in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Policy changes
We may update this policy as the website or extensions evolve. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date.
