Get a color palette from any image
Color Palette finds the main colors of a photo or illustration and shows how much of the image each one covers. Copy the codes in HEX, RGB, HSL or CMYK, or move the pickers on the image to choose colors yourself.
Build matching schemes from any color, generate random palettes, and export swatches for Adobe apps, CSS variables, JSON or a palette card image. It runs in your browser and your images are not uploaded.

Questions and answers
How are the colors picked?
The image is scaled down and its pixels are grouped into the number of colors you choose, using a perceptual color space so the result looks right to the eye.
Can I use the palette in Photoshop or Illustrator?
Yes. Download the ASE file and load it in the Swatches panel.
What are color keywords?
Plain color names for each swatch, such as teal or coral, that you can copy into the keywords of your stock files.
Is there a limit?
No. The tool is free and runs in your browser.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The image is read inside your browser only.
