Privacy at Nextools
This policy explains what the Nextools website, browser extensions, and Adobe plugins process, why the data is needed, and the choices available to you.
01Scope & Summary
This Privacy Policy applies to the Nextools website, user dashboard, support services, browser extensions, and Adobe plugins that link to this policy. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that you open through a Nextools product.
Nextools does not sell personal data and does not use extension browsing data for advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling.
02Information the Website Collects
Account information: name, email address, password hash, account status, session and security information.
Orders and licensing: purchased or trial products, transaction status, license keys, activation records, device counts, download history, and trial requests.
Manual payments: for bKash or Nagad review, the sender number, transaction ID, selected payment method, amount, and any payment screenshot you choose to submit.
Support and communication: messages, attachments, email delivery status, and other information you provide through contact forms or live chat.
Technical records: IP address, browser and device information, request time, security events, and standard server logs used for operation, fraud prevention, debugging, and security.
03Extension & Plugin Service Data
Depending on the product and whether licensing or a free-use allowance is enabled, a Nextools extension or plugin may send the following limited service data to Nextools:
- A randomly generated installation or device identifier.
- Product identifier, extension/plugin version, browser or host application, platform, and installation time.
- License key, activation/deactivation request, activation status, and permitted device count.
- Usage counters required to enforce a disclosed free or lifetime quota, such as the number of accepted leads. These counters do not include the contents of the leads.
- Error or diagnostic details you explicitly provide to support.
These identifiers support license validation, quota enforcement, abuse prevention, product updates, and reliable service operation. Uninstalling an extension may remove locally stored information, but it does not automatically delete records already required for licensing, transactions, security, or legal compliance.
04Website Content, Leads & Files
Some extensions need access to the current page, selected websites, Google Maps, Bing Maps, LinkedIn, page links, images, fonts, technology signals, or other visible content to perform the feature you request.
Lead and contact details collected by the Maps Leadser and Website Scraper products are processed and stored locally in your browser for display and export. Nextools receives the quota counter described above, not the scraped lead contents, unless you deliberately submit content to support or another clearly identified service.
Screenshot, image-download, copy, link, font, task, color, and page-analysis features process their working data locally unless the product clearly tells you otherwise before a transfer.
Website Extraction may request optional access to public websites only after you enable or use that feature. Nextools products are intended for lawful use on public information; you are responsible for respecting applicable law, website terms, and the rights of other people.
05Browser Extension Limited Use
Nextools' use of information received from browser APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements:
- Data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing, single-purpose functionality described in the extension listing.
- Browser data is not sold, transferred for advertising, used for personalized ads, or used to determine lending or creditworthiness.
- Human access is limited to cases where you consent, access is necessary for security or abuse investigation, the law requires it, or data has been aggregated and de-identified for internal operations.
- Permissions are requested for the disclosed feature. Optional access may be denied or later removed through browser extension settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable.
06Payments, Providers & Disclosure
International checkout may be handled by Lemon Squeezy. Nextools does not receive or store your complete card number. The payment provider processes payment and returns order, customer, and payment-status details needed to fulfil the purchase.
bKash and Nagad submissions are reviewed using the transaction information you provide. Do not submit a PIN, password, one-time code, or full payment-account credential.
We may use service providers for hosting, cloud file storage, content delivery, email delivery, customer support, analytics needed for service operation, payment processing, and security. They may process only the information necessary to perform their service under applicable contractual or legal obligations.
We may disclose information to comply with law, protect users and Nextools, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, or complete a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
07Cookies & Local Browser Storage
The website uses necessary cookies and similar storage for authentication, security, session continuity, preferences, and theme selection. Extensions use browser storage for settings, saved results, task or scan state, installation identifiers, license state, and feature preferences.
You can clear cookies or extension storage through your browser. Doing so may sign you out, remove saved local results or settings, and require license revalidation. Browser or third-party sites you visit may use their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
08Retention, Security & International Processing
We retain account, transaction, license, quota, download, support, and security records only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain licenses, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, meet accounting requirements, and comply with law. Local extension data remains in your browser until you clear it or uninstall the extension, subject to browser behavior.
We use access controls, HTTPS in transit, password hashing, backups, monitoring, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; protect your password and license key and contact us if you believe they have been compromised.
Service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and legal safeguards for those transfers.
Nextools products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided such information.
09Your Choices, Requests & Policy Changes
You may update account information through the dashboard, remove local extension data through your browser, revoke optional website permissions, deactivate eligible licenses, or uninstall a product.
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. Some transaction, license, fraud-prevention, and legal records may need to be retained. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before completing a request.
We may update this policy when our products, legal obligations, or data practices change. The revised date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the website, dashboard, product, or another reasonable channel.
