Import a CSV header from your contributor portal, review the mappings, then save a custom layout. Guessed agency templates are not included.

A CSV only applies metadata; upload the matching media in the contributor portal. For unsupported sites, import the template supplied by that agency rather than relying on guessed columns.

Prepare stock metadata by hand and export agency CSV files

Manual Embedder gives you direct control of each title, description and keyword list. Add local assets or bring in an existing CSV, then review and edit the results before exporting.

Adobe Stock, Shutterstock and Pond5 CSV layouts follow published contributor instructions. For another agency, import a CSV template from its contributor portal and review the column mappings. JPG and PNG files can also receive embedded metadata without leaving your browser.

How to prepare manual stock metadata

Questions and answers

Does this tool generate metadata with AI?

No. It is for manual editing and importing your own CSV. Use Generator in Microstock Studio if you want AI suggestions.

Do I need to upload the original files?

No. You can start from a CSV. Local files are needed only if you want thumbnails or embedded JPG/PNG downloads.

Are all agency templates guaranteed to upload?

No. Adobe Stock, Shutterstock and Pond5 layouts are checked against published contributor guidance. Other sites may change their format; import their current template and confirm it in the portal before submission.

Are my files sent to Nextools?

No. Editing, CSV creation and JPG/PNG embedding run in your browser.
