Halftone generator for print, pop art and stock vectors
Halftone Studio turns an image into a pattern of dots, lines or shapes, like newspaper print, comics and pop-art posters. Choose the screen, size, angle and colors and see the result live.
You can also make halftone gradient patterns without a photo — a popular kind of stock vector. Export large PNG or JPG files, or SVG and EPS vectors. It runs in your browser and your images are not uploaded.

Questions and answers
Can I sell the results as stock vectors?
Yes, for artwork made from your own images or from the gradient patterns. Download the EPS file, open it in your vector app to check it, and follow the agency vector rules.
What is CMYK halftone?
Four dot screens in cyan, magenta, yellow and black, each at its own angle, the way color printing works.
How big can the export be?
Raster files can be up to 8000 pixels wide. Very fine grids make large vector files, so the tool warns you when a vector would be too heavy.
Can the background be transparent?
Yes. Switch the paper to transparent and download a PNG or a vector.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything runs inside your browser.
