Brush frames can give a headline or quote a handmade border. Their roughness should lead the eye inward, not swallow the text.
Design around the empty center
Use the NexTools Brush Generator to make a frame or text-box shape. Set the opening large enough for the actual words and leave breathing room on all sides. Uneven corners can feel natural; a gap exactly through the headline may look accidental.
Check in a real layout
Place a short title and a longer quote inside the same frame. If only the short title fits, create another proportion rather than stretching the original until strokes become distorted. Export SVG or EPS for editable shapes, then test recoloring against light and dark backgrounds.
For a stock collection, include a useful range of orientations and sizes. Name files clearly so buyers can distinguish a square frame from a wide banner without opening every asset.
